Bobryshev concludes 2013 MX1 season with fourth overall

Honda World Motocross racer Evgeny Bobryshev concluded the season with a fourth overall finish today in the relentless Lierop sand to take eighth in the championship standings at the final round of the MX1 World Championship held in Benelux, The Netherlands. After qualifying third yesterday, heavy rainfall doused the Lierop track overnight, and the MX1 competitors were greeted with a sloppy, wet circuit this morning, which meant the opening race was more challenging than usual, despite it warming up by lunchtime.

Bobryshev celebrates third consecutive podium in the UK

Honda World Motocross rider Evgeny Bobryshev celebrated his third consecutive podium today by taking third position overall in Matterley Basin, Great Britain for the penultimate round of the MX1 World Championship. After retiring from the qualifying race yesterday due to a collision in the first turn that damaged his front brake, Bobryshev was lucky to get a fairly good gate pick in the opening race today, as he was last to make the choice on the available gates.
